Meet your photographer

Rachel is a cinematic photographer capturing intimate, timeless moments.

Rachel is a portrait and wedding photographer working between Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland and New York City, with over 16 years of experience photographing people and their stories. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master’s degree in Film Studies from the University of Edinburgh—education that continues to inform her thoughtful, narrative-driven approach to photography.

Having grown up in the D.C. area, Rachel developed an early appreciation for both historic architecture and expansive natural landscapes, elements that often shape the aesthetics of her work. Now based in Northern Virginia and regularly traveling to New York City, she brings a practiced eye, steady presence, and deep understanding of visual storytelling to every session. Outside of photography, she enjoys exploring mid-century design, watching films, and hiking with her husband, Jamie.
